Today the first of the five hand-painted Enjoy Felixstowe More! stones has been hidden and we can now reveal which area to start searching.

The clue: Where men once watched for Napoleon’s forces and 150 years later kept a cold war vigil, today families picnic and play in Felixstowe’s newest park.

It’s a chance to explore an area of the seafront you might not have visited before or not for some time – an area packed with history and modern fun, too, with play areas for all ages and food kiosks for refreshments.

And the finder of stone number one will get a £50 cash prize.

In all, there will be five stones to find, with a total prize fund of £250.

Anyone finding one of the stones should call 01473 324773, and leave their details, including phone number, to claim their prize.

And tell us about your hunt for the stones – join the conversation and share your photos on the Enjoy Felixstowe More Facebook page.
