Stone 2 in our Enjoy Felixstowe More! game of stones has been found – and soon the hunt for the third hand-painted rock will be on.
Stone 2 was found by the Peverley family in the Spa Gardens - just in the flower bed at Marian’s Bench, a seat in memory of much-loved Marian in one of the smaller garden areas just off the prom and near the water features close to The Hut.
Mum Clare Peverley said: “We first went hunting near the Spa gardens Tuesday evening and though we didn’t find the stone, we found lots of other painted stones.
“So when the second clue came out, we went hunting again and hey presto, Joshua and Rosie found the stone with mum’s help! They are so pleased and excited.”
Clue one was: Part of the seafront named after the health-giving waters that attracted our first tourists 160 years ago.
Clue two: Where family and friends of much-loved Marian remember as they sit and chat, admiring the flowers and listening to the waves.
The family has won a £50 prize for finding the stone.
There will be five stones to find in total.
