Stay vigilant message after break-ins

Police have issued a warning after three burglaries at homes in Felixstowe.
Officers are urging people to be vigilant, take extra security precautions if necessary, and are also appealing for any information concerning the crimes.
The three incidents were:
Monday, May 20, between 1.15pm and 3.15pm, entry was gained to a home on Colneis Road by forcing the front door. The door was closed, but not dead bolted. The home owner was in the garden at the time. All rooms were searched and jewellery was stolen - crime number: 37/28558/19
Monday, May 20, approximately 3.20pm, a home on Foxgrove Road was entered. The victim heard the door-bell ring several times, and someone banged on the door. The victim shouted a greeting downstairs, and then witnessed two people leaving the home, one was a male wearing a hi-viz jacket. Entry to the home was by forcing open a window - crime number: 37/28568/19
Between 3pm Friday, May 17 and 4pm Monday, May 20, a home on Garrison Lane was entered. A padlock on the back gate was cut to gain access to the rear of the home. The glass in the rear patio door was smashed to gain entry. An untidy search of all rooms has taken place. Cash was stolen.
