More than 100 prints and 200 digitally projected images on a wide range of subjects and themes will be on show at the event.
Felixstowe Photographic Society (FPS) is holding its 12th Biennial Exhibition at the Trinity Methodist Church Hall, Orwell Road, from Wednesday, August 15, to Saturday, August 18.
The exhibition is open from 10am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 5pm on Saturday. Admission is free.
The special theme is “Armistice” with members submitting images in recognition of the ending of the First World War in 1918.
Felixstowe Photographic Society president, Nigel Rea said: “We are a welcoming, lively and thriving club and are currently one of the leading photographic clubs in the Eastern Federation with over 70 members.
“Our programme runs from September to June and our weekly meetings offer a wide range of topics for everyone interested in photography.
“These include competitions for prints and projected images, external ‘battles’ with other photographic clubs, speakers and practical and instructional evenings.
“We also cover the technical side of photography from the basics to the advanced with plenty of advice and encouragement from experienced photographers.”
FPS meets on Thursday evenings at Broadway House in Orwell Road.
